About me

I have always had a curious mind and a thirst for knowledge .

As a kid, I was shy and observed more than I participated. Religion wasn’t a staple in our house growing up, but as a teenager I started going to church. I watched people, asked questions, got involved, and tried to understand how life worked. I came away with some answers — and even more questions.

Early on, I realized that most of what we experience comes down to three things: health, relationships, and money. Since then, I’ve spent much of my life trying to understand how to navigate all three a little better.

That curiosity never left me.

After the Army, I went to school for computers while continuing to work in assembly. When my marriage ended and life shifted, I leaned into what I had — my skills, my drive, and a growing hunger to understand why some people get what they want while others stay stuck repeating the same patterns.

Network marketing introduced me to self-development. Self-development led me to the teachings of Abraham Hicks, then The Secret, and eventually deeper into the work of people like Bob Proctor, Jack Canfield, Wayne Dyer, Tony Robbins, Laura Langemeier, and many others. One idea led to another. One lesson connected to the next.

At the same time, I started building my own business — My Assembly Guy — using the skills I already had to create more freedom, more flexibility, and more time to pursue what I was truly interested in:

understanding life and sharing what I was learning along the way.

Ron’s Choice originally started as an LLC for an eBay business. Over time, it became something much bigger — a brand, a mindset, and eventually a platform built around one simple belief:

life becomes more manageable when we learn how to manage our thoughts, make better choices, and focus on the outcomes we actually want.

I’m not a guru, and I don’t pretend to have everything figured out. I’m someone who has spent decades learning, practicing, failing, rebuilding, observing, questioning, and refining — and I’m still doing it every day.

The content, the conversations, the videos, and the book I’m writing all come from real-life experience. Not theory. Not perfection. Just a genuine desire to simplify what I’ve learned in a way that actually helps people apply it to their own lives.

A lot of what I share revolves around mindset, health, relationships, money, travel, business, and personal growth — because real life doesn’t happen in separate categories. Everything overlaps.

One day I might talk about building a business.
Another day it could be a lesson from the gym, a road trip, rebuilding part of my house, sitting quietly questioning life, or simply trying to become a little better than I was yesterday.

I believe growth is a balance between vision and action.

Ask for what you want.
Believe it’s possible.
Take consistent intentional action.
Become the person capable of receiving it.

Simple doesn’t mean easy.
But life gets better when we stop fighting ourselves every day.

If you found your way here from TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, or simply by searching my name, welcome.

And if any part of this resonates with you, you’re probably in the right place.
